Pandemic and Poverty

Derin Yoksulluk Ağı (Deep Poverty Network) is a network of solidarity working in the field of poverty. It is involved in rights-based activities in tens of poor neighbourhoods. They aim to create projects to support their access to such fundamental rights and develop proposals to secure a permanent solution to deep poverty, as well as to report on and follow up the implementation of such projects and proposals. Representing the Deep Poverty Network, Selen Yüksel and Şevval Şener will hold a webinar in English, focusing on "What deep poverty is, deep poverty and human rights during the pandemic period, solidarity network and what local governments can do in this process".
